Absolutely. Daytona Beach has grown out of its “rowdy Spring Break” reputation.Obviously the kids can play at the beach year round, learn to surf and rent bicycles. Wear them out by climbing the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, pet stingrays at Marine Science Center or go on a dolphin and manatee boat tour. Indoors, a visit to the Museum of Arts & Sciences is perfect. With a state-of-the-art planetarium and a children’s museum brimming with interactive exhibits, a rainy day can be fun and educational!

Peak season in Daytona Beach is December through February. Shoulder Season is Spring and Fall and Low Season is Summer.

Duration

Depending on your activity level, I suggest an extended weekend on your first visit. If you love the vibe, then next time, stay a week.
