In this conversation, Carl discusses the significance of good journalism, emphasizing the need for objectivity and balance in news reporting. He critiques the current state of journalism, particularly at CBS, and highlights Barry Weiss's efforts to uphold journalistic integrity by pulling a controversial 60 Minutes story about illegal aliens. Jackson argues that biased reporting undermines civility and intellectualism in society, advocating for a return to factual reporting that allows viewers to form their own opinions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he will meet on Sunday with U.S. President Donald Trump in Florida. Zelenskyy told journalists on Friday that the two leaders will discuss security guarantees for Ukraine during Sunday’s talks, and that the 20-point plan under discussion “is about 90% ready.”
The announced meeting is the latest development in an extensive U.S.-led diplomatic push to end the nearly four-year Russia-Ukraine war. But efforts have run into sharply conflicting demands by Moscow and Kyiv.
The U.S. Department of Justice says it may take several more weeks to complete the release of all documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, further delaying compliance with a Dec. 19 deadline set by Congress.
In a statement released Wednesday, the DOJ said the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, along with the FBI, identified more than one million additional documents that could be relevant to the case. The department did not specify when it was first informed about the newly discovered files.
The Justice Department said its attorneys are working “around the clock” to review the materials and make legally required redactions under a law passed nearly unanimously by Congress last month.
Today’s show is a no-holds-barred examination of the philosophical and cultural spine of Western civilization—and why it’s cracking. Josh Hammer and Melanie Phillips, author of the new book, "The Builders Stone", sound the alarm on the rapid erosion of Judeo-Christian values, exposing how radical ideologies are undermining the very foundations that built the West. They lay out the indispensable contributions of Judaism and Christianity to our moral and political order, dissect the geopolitical chaos we now face, and argue why reconnecting with these principles is not optional but essential for survival. The conversation also confronts the hard question of Islam’s compatibility with Western norms and digs into the cultural and ideological battles that will determine the future of the West.
