The Trump presidential campaign has officially sued a former White House staffer and author of a nasty West Wing tell-all, claiming the ex-aide violated several non-disclosure agreements in writing the book.

The campaign is suing Clifford Sims, author of Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days In the Trump White House.

The Washington Examiner reports the book outraged Trump and others inside the White House who felt Sims disparaged his former boss and fellow staffers – especially top aide Kellyanne Conway.

In a tweet, Trump called Sims a “low level staffer” and added, “He is a mess!” The campaign did not disclose what it was seeking from Sims in damages.
