Ocasio-Cortez Touts Plan to Tax the Super Wealthy at 70%

In an interview with 60 Minutes that aired on Sunday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealed how exactly she suggests paying for the far-left environmental agenda known as the “Green New Deal” —just tax what she calls “the super wealthy” up to 70 percent.
Ocasio-Cortez suggested that people should be doing more to pay their “fair share.”
When host Anderson Cooper pressed on how she could possibly pay for the deal, she said, “Once you get to the tippie tops, on your $10 millionth, sometimes you see tax rates as high as 60% or 70%.”
Cooper called her proposal a “radical agenda,” to which she replied, “If that’s what radical means, call me a radical.”
