George Soros Funded Grant to Nonprofit Connected to Fusion GPS

A spokesman for left-wing billionaire financier George Soros is admitting that Soros indirectly funded Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the infamous Steele dossier.

The Daily Caller reports Soros’ spokesman said that Soros donated a grant to the Democracy Integrity Project.

That group, which was formed in 2017 by Daniel Jones, a former staffer for Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, paid Fusion GPS as a contractor to continue an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Jones told the FBI in interviews in March 2017 that his organization was paid around $50 million by a group of billionaires, presumably one of them being Soros, to conduct the investigation.
