Conservative commentator Jesse Kelly is back on Twitter after his account was previously permanently suspended earlier in the week for unknown reasons.

The Hill reports Kelly said on Tuesday that he had no idea why he had been banned from the social media platform only saying that Twitter told him his account was permanently suspended for "multiple or repeat violations of the Twitter rules."

That decision triggered outrage among conservatives, including several lawmakers, leading to Kelly’s account being reinstated.

The suspension comes amid an ongoing debate over whether social media platforms are biased against conservatives.
