Brown University is suppressing a controversial study on transgenderism by one of its own professors because it didn’t like the conclusions.

Townhall reports results of the recently released study by assistant professor of behavioral and social sciences Lisa Littman, found that the onset of gender dysphoria among young children may be due more to peer pressure or the flood of internet posts on the subject than to biological factors.

Littman’s research reports that a high percentage of children who embrace transgenderism have multiple transgender friends.

Since the publication of the study, Brown has admitted that it may lead people to think it doesn’t support the transgender community and has removed news about Littman’s research from its website.
