It is a memory song like the children's classic There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly. Each verse of the song adds new information, then recites everything that came before it. The song is a good tool for helping kids learn what happened on each day of the creation. These scriptures are discussed the Concordia Publishing House bible story sequence in the fall of 2014. The song is intended to be used as a resource, especially for teachers who use the Cross Explorations or Growing in Christ curriculum.
